#1 COCOA vs #3 VIERA

img_4729#1 Cocoa (2-1) vs #3 Viera (3-1): Cocoa has not lost to a Brevard opponent since 10/10/2008 against Merritt Island 15-14. The Brevard County 39 game win streak is in Jeopardy as they take on the talented Viera Hawks Friday night at Hawk Stadium. The Viera faithful and all of Hawk Nation will be in full force to cheer on the Hawks as they take on the Tigers. Viera ranked #20 in the State,#5 in Class 7A, and #3 in Brevard, has all the tools to pull the upset. The Hawks came roaring back from a 21 point deficit last season as the Tigers escaped with a 49-42 dramatic victory. Many believe that if there were 2 more minutes on the clock the Hawks would have won. Hawks now have an entire game to get the job done.

This Game of the Week has all the makings of another great game between these teams. Both teams strengths are the other teams weakness. Cocoa has struggled against the pass and must figure out how to stop the Hawks Air Attack. Viera has struggled against the run and must figure out how to stop the Tigers run game and force them into  long yardage passing situations.
