Introducing Zaylan Chapple: A Rising Star entering the 8th Grade!

Meet Zaylan Chapple, an exceptional 8th grade football athlete at Cocoa High School. Zaylan’s dedication to both academics and athletics has set him apart as an outstanding student-athlete, with a bright future ahead.

One of Zaylan’s notable achievements is he ended the school year with an impressive 4.0 GPA. This demonstrates his commitment to his studies and his ability to balance his academic responsibilities with his passion for football.

Zaylan’s talent on the football field is equally impressive. In 2022, he was a key member of the Rockledge Raiders, one of the top 15 national 14u teams in the prestigious Generation Next Youth Football rankings. His skills and contributions to the team’s success caught the attention of scouts and earned him an invite to the 2022 USA Football Middle School Training Camp, where he was invited as an All-American Watchlist candidate.

Beyond traditional football, Zaylan has also excelled in the fast-paced world of 7v7 football. He was a vital part of the Island Elite 7v7 team, helping them secure the 2022 DR Sportz 14u National Championship title. Zaylan’s abilities were further showcased in the 2023 7v7 Elite Kickoff Classic, where his team emerged as champions.

Zaylan’s athletic prowess extends beyond the football field. In the realm of track and field, he displayed his speed and agility by becoming the 2023 Boys 7th Grade Brevard Middle School Track Champion in both the 100m and 200m events. This achievement highlights his versatility and athleticism across multiple sports.
