GAME OF THE WEEK: Its rivalry week between the #4 Viera Hawks and #6 Rockledge Raiders. A large influx of talented players now walk the Halls of RHS due to the new transfer policy (HB 7029). The Raiders with 13 transfers will try to improve from last season and end the losing streak against Viera.

The Raiders will take the 8 mile drive down the road and face all of Hawk Nation at Viera High School Stadium. Rockledge is coming off a 42-0 Kickoff Classic(KOC) win against Melbourne and will use new found confidence and swagger to finally figure out the Viera puzzle. The Raiders have been outscored 160-21 in the last 4 games against Viera, all ending in defeat. Prior to this Viera streak RHS won 6 in a row from 2007-2012 by a combined score of 217-33.

Viera coming off a tough 42-30 loss in their KOC to Vero Beach will be very prepared after playing tough competition to expose their weaknesses. The Hawk Offense looked at times quick and proficient, but needs to improve upon taking care of the football. The Hawks gave up 6 turnovers and must avoid that against a very fast Raider defense.
