Heritage Panthers 321 Recruits #1, BHSN #7, FLHSFB #24, MaxPreps #32, National #263                                                                      Heritage starts out the season as our #1 Ranked team due to its Defensive depth and a tremendous Backfield that will go about 4  deep this season. (Sr RB) Josh “Moose” Gaines,        (Jr. RB) Lasedrick King, (Sr, RB) Josh Harden, (Sr. QB) Daeshawn Mills. These three running backs rushed for over 1000 yards last season. Gaines ,who has 3 College offers, was forced to play QB last year when Mills went down with a injury is excited about getting his signal caller back. The Offense with Mills back into the fold will help to stretch the field and force teams out of the 8 man fronts they faced last season. Daeshawn Mills leading the passing attack gives a new dimension that will be hard to deal with this season leaving opposing teams to pick their poison. Heritage will travel to face a very talented Vero Beach team on on August 21st in a Kick Off Classic. Cocoa Tigers  321Recruits #2 , BHSN #3 , FLHSFB #6, MaxPreps #195, National #74                                                                               Cocoa is the Highest Nationally Ranked team in Brevard but they come in at #2 in our rankings. The Offensive Line returns 4 starters from a year ago who are Big, Fast, and led by 6’6 300lb (Sr OT) Jawaan Taylor who has 13 offers and counting. Look for Cocoa to have an explosive Offense with FL Commit (Sr ATH) Chauncey “CJ”Gardner, OSU Commit  (Jr QB) Bruce Judson, (Sr TE) Zach Armour(2 Offers), (Jr RB) Timmy Pratt, and (So DE/RB) Howard Stewart who already has a Miami Offer. This team is very talented but very young and inexperienced on the defensive side of the ball. The only thing lacking for Cocoa early on will be the Defense who will start 6 Sophomores on Defense. These kids will have to grow up quickly as they play a very well Coached Titusville team in the Kick Off Classic. Lead by (Sr. WR) Tre Nixon (47 Offers) and (Sr. QB) Hayden Kingston (FAMU offer) the Offense looks to put plenty of points on the board. The Defense has had some new additions to an already talented group lead by (Sr. ATH) Trevor Merritt, (Sr. DB) Evan Cruz,       (Sr DB) Jamyson Boyd, (So LB) Brandon Mays, and (Sr. DT/T) Matthew Martorelli. Transfers       (Jr. ATH) William Champion, (Sr ATH) Alex Cabrera, and (Sr DB) Malek Folston gives depth to the Program looking to make a deep playoff run this Season.
